The United Nations' support to COVID Preparedness and Response in Papua New Guinea - December 2021 to April 2022
The United Nations is committed in supporting the Government of Papua New Guinea to combat COVID-19 in the country.
The funds used by the United Nations agencies, funds, and programme in PNG to support national efforts have been received from various sources, such as the Governments of Australia, Japan, New Zealand, United States of America, India, China, Netherlands, also from the private sector, the Global Partnership for Education, the Government of Papua New Guinea, and the World Bank. The UN also has made contributions from its own core resources. These funds are being delivered by the UN agencies directly and through implementing partners. This document details how each agency is helping through from December 2021 till April 2022.
